Porter Ranch

Originally homesteaded by members of the Porter family in the late 1800's, Porter Ranch has now opened its doors to the public for the first time. 

The Porters working hay, cattle, and elk ranch is now operated by fifth and sixth generation family members and encompasses thousands of acres along beautiful Alkali Creek south of New Castle, Colorado. 

Be among the first of the public to visit this exquisite setting.  Escape to breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife, and the peaceful tranquility of this working ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

There are any number of ways to enjoy time at the ranch - wildlife and ranch tours, fishing trips, and horseback rides to name a few.  All of our activities are offered in small groups to make the most of your time with us.  With thousands of acres to play on, we can accomodate larger groups by special arrangement, and customized trips are always available!  Let us know what you have in mind and we'll help create the ranch getaway of your dreams!
