Porter Ranch in located on Alkali Creek Road, just south of New Castle, Colorado.
We are approximately - 15 minutes west of Glenwood Springs, just over an hour from Beaver Creek or Aspen, ninety minutes from Vail, one hour and fifteen minutes from Grand Junction.
Directions:
From I-70, take Exit 105 for the town of New Castle.
Turn South to a "T" intersection where you can no longer go straight, and make a right turn onto County Road 335/Colorado River Road. Go 2 miles and make a left hand turn onto County Road 314/Alkali Creek Road.
"Ranch Headquarters" are 4.2 miles up Alkali Creek on the right - a log building that sits right on the road, and has a sign which reads "Holiday Out"...and the Double H, our "horse hut" is exactly 3.5 miles up the road, take that left next to the hay shed and follow that rocky road, our delightful HORSES await you there!!!!
IF you are only riding horses with us, be sure to please turn at the left across from the hay shed. IF you go to the cabin, our Holiday Out..come on back. You can see the horse hut from there!!
