All of our horses are barefoot!!!

We leave small hoof prints, like the deer and elk that cross our pastures, and consequently, follow the baler around for some excellent feed. Currently we are up on pasture behind the Cabin, and will meet you all saddled up there if you are riding with us this fall. 

 Not to get overly technical regarding the hoof mechanism, but as a student of Strasser, I can say the benefits for barefoot horses are life long, and easy to maintain. All of our horses are healthy and loved, and protected on the rock road or trail with hoof boots on the front weight bearing hooves. Look at those happy ears!!!  We love our booties!! See you at the Ranch for rides or lessons, thank you to all who have come and are already reserving spaces for next season!
